JJR Team Bringing Improvement Services to Mountain Home Air Force Base Through Three New Contracts

Dayton, Ohio— JJR Solutions has won three new contracts to provide an array of improvement services to the U.S. Air Force and its 366th Civil Engineer Squadron (366 CES) at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.

The new contracts are:

  • Mountain Home Public-Public/Public-Private Partnership (MH P4) Support

  • Mountain Home Digital Twin (MH DT)

  • Mountain Home Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) Recommendations and Implementation

All three contracts will be managed by JJR Project Manager Liz Howard and supported by subcontractor Matrix Design Group.

The 366 CES is responsible for managing a $200M design and construction program at Mountain Home Air Force Base, where the squadron improves, maintains, and operates infrastructure and hundreds of buildings.

In the MH P4 contract, Team JJR will help the 366 CES assess and develop community partnership initiatives that could be used to improve infrastructure, repurpose underutilized real estate, and expand off-base transportation options. The contract runs from June 6, 2022, to December 3, 2022.

The MH DT contract will allow Team JJR to support the development of a Digital Twin for construction phasing at Mountain Home, where the 366 CES can test simulations, machine learning, and reasoning on real-time construction phasing data in a virtual representation of the current system. Team JJR’s support for the beginning stages of this project will include developing a proof of concept and facilitating a vision workshop between the 366 CES and other relevant stakeholders. This contract runs from August 1, 2022, to February 1, 2023.

In the RIE addendum to a current contract, Team JJR will assist 366 CES in streamlining, standardizing, and automating its processes for identifying, developing, executing, and closing out infrastructure requirements. Using JJR’s Digital Workforce Solution, the installation will be able to track metrics, reduce workload, and improve visibility into their processes. This addendum runs from August 29, 2022, to June 26, 2023.

All three contracts were awarded through JJR’s Phase III Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) vehicle and will leverage JJR’s Magnify© tool to infuse human-centered design into improvements for the client’s processes and organization.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our support for 366 CES’ important work,” shared JJR Senior Vice President of Client Experience Jill Delaney-Shal. “We appreciate the trust and confidence they’ve placed in us and are already employing our human-centered design techniques, digital workforce tools, and improvement services to make a difference for their efficiency and automation. What a great opportunity to continue working with Matrix Design Group to maximize what 366 CES can achieve for our United States Air Force!”
