JJR Promotes Six in Company Reorg to Support Strategic Company Growth

Dayton, Ohio—Effective January 1, 2023, JJR Solutions has promoted six of its leaders in a reorganization to support the company’s 2023 plans for client-focused, quality growth.

JJR Solutions President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Carly Cox explained, “We began our five-year strategy to achieve quality growth in 2020, and we are proud of how our team has collectively worked to grow our customers, impact, and business. We are prepared for another year of record growth in 2023, and I recently announced strategic changes to our organization and leadership to effectively support our growing business.”

  • Dan Marion has been named Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Previously the Chief Marketing Officer, he will continue leading JJR’s Market Development and Growth activities but will focus on developing and executing strategies that help JJR achieve quality growth. His new role includes building and sustaining competitive advantage and helping align JJR’s cross-departmental functions to provide the best possible experience for clients.

  • Jill Delaney-Shal has moved from Senior Vice President of Client Experience to become Executive Vice President of Customer Mission Success. Already a key player in helping clients realize success in their challenging problems, she will lead exceptional project execution and quality delivery for all JJR contracts, seeking to earn the trust and confidence of clients, help them achieve mission success, and build lasting partnerships with them.

  • David Hart has been promoted from Senior Vice President of Business Development to Executive Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Relationships. His new role recognizes his skills in making connections with clients and partners and will allow him to continue growing strong business relationships and solidifying new partnerships that help clients achieve mission success.

  • David LaBarca has been named Vice President, Veteran and Military Health, where he will be responsible for growth, execution, and talent management for his organization. Previously a Portfolio Director for JJR’s U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contracts, LaBarca will be a key thought leader within the Customer Mission Success division, working with other senior leaders to develop processes, procedures, and methods that ensure flawless service delivery.

  • Eric Lundgren has been promoted from Corporate Finance Director to Vice President of Finance. This role expansion will allow him to manage all post-award contract and subcontract administration activities in addition to the accounting, finance, project control, and purchasing activities he already leads with excellence.

  • Mandy Thompson has moved from Director of Growth Services to become Vice President of Growth Services. Thompson will focus on serving clients during the pre-award process, raising awareness and knowledge around Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract vehicles and helping to architect effective contracts. She will continue her work in pricing, negotiation, and supporting a positive customer experience.

“I appreciate each one of these leaders for their commitment to our company, clients, and community, and for just being talented, amazing people,” shared Cox. “Each one is actively making a difference in our company pursuit of improving the health, well-being, and security of our communities and nation.”

She continued, “This group has the ability to take our clients’ JJR experience to the next level and really help grow the company strategically, and I know they’ll do just that. I’m excited to see their impact in 2023!”
